Helio honored by the European Union at the Mediterranean of the Future event

On November 12th and 13th, Marseille hosted Act 2 of the Mediterranean of the Future conference, organized by the South Region, which brought together delegations from Mediterranean countries, artists, entrepreneurs, high-ranking officials, and local authorities to discuss and exchange ideas on the future of the Mediterranean. For this second Act, youth and innovation were at the heart of the discussions.

Organised under the high patronage of Johannes Hahn, the European Commissioner in charge of European neighbourhood policy and enlargement negotiations, HELIO, a 100% autonomous solar-powered drinking water production system, was honoured as an exemplary EU-supported project addressing a major issue in the Mediterranean region: water resources.
